St Luke’s is an inclusive school. We believe that every child should have an education which encourages and supports them to achieve all they can. Our purpose is to open eyes, hearts and minds.
In the context of high academic achievement, we try never to forget about the whole child. Within a broad curriculum, and diverse extra-curricular activities, we foster the ethos of tolerance and respect. We are proud of our pupils’ behaviour and attitude; through our systems and policies we encourage them to be caring and productive members of the community and lifelong learners.
As a school, we believe that learning should be fun and we work hard to ensure that the children learn through play as well as from traditional class dynamics.
St Luke’s is a Church school. We seek to demonstrate this not only in assemblies and our links with local churches but also through the nurture of pupils and the values we adopt. As part of this, we welcome diversity of faiths and cultures.
